On February 23, 2008 AAGO announced winners of their first annual Golden Key Awards. With over 300 people in attendance, the Black-Tie event held at the Church Street Presidential Ballroom in downtown Orlando recognized Timberlake Apartments, a GREYSTAR community, as one of the winners for “Renovated Community of the Year”.
Timberlake Apartments, located in Longwood, Florida was among many nominations in the Central Florida region, including the counties of Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Lake and Osceola. The crystal Golden Key Award trophy presented to GREYSTAR was based on the decision of an independent, out-of-town, panel of judges. The criteria determining winners of this award included design quality, aesthetics, quality of construction, as well as the net change in appearance, function and market repositioning of the community itself.
